we take out and wash the hammocks and just stick to the ecopbed/cardboard bedding, apart from that no.
we usually take their igloos/other plastic home things to the sink and wash them properly, though.

We don't freeze anything either. We usually take out their hammocks and wash them, and don't put in anything like hammocks/fleece until the mites are gone. Apart from that we don't freeze anything no.

It has to be 48 hours how dare you!!

I don't either. Never had to, Ivermectin or Revo works pretty much magic.

I am just curious.... I haven't ever.

I can't fit anything in the freezer for a start but my OH wouldn't be too happy if I started to put stinking rat objects into our freezer.

Surely mites/lice are mainly on the rats rather than the hammocks and toys anyway? I do wash the hammocks, though...

What age is Bell?

If she's young and not very very old (if I get a rescue that's old I won't get company tbh) then I think company is best. Sure she is eating drinking playing, but humans aren't rats, they love other rat company.

I keep boys in pairs and girls in groups so you could consider getting her more than just one friend.

I have one lil gal, Bell, and I just wondered do rats NEED company?

Imma get her a friend soon, from pet smart, but she is real happy on her own anyway

She eats, she drinks, she licks my hands, takes treats, pop corns around the room, etc.

sooo just wondered what good a friend will do!!

My vet removed three at once. It depends how experienced your vet is and what they are confident doing imo. So check with him/her.

I would get antibiotics for her if she's got mucus and is snuffling, maybe not steroid yet though?
