Sorry about not being on, long story, but I have had no internet/phone access since I last signed in.
2nd of March I noticed a small lump on Richards armpit. And then the next day one on his is stomach, in line with his legs, to the left hand side. He now has a lump on his actual boy parts
He was booked for the vets tomorrow when I found the first lump, but it feels as though I'm just fighting against lumps that he's going to keep getting. Would getting them removed be worth it, or not?
I just feel a bit sad that if I don't get them removed it might really limit his time with me...

Are the lumps hard/squishy? I'm wondering if they may be abcesses, just seems odd to have 3 tumours appear at once. However if they are tumours then you might, sadly, be right in thinking if you get them removed then more are just going to come back. Which would be putting him through surgery for no real reason, what age is he Sophie? Do still take him to the vets for a professional opinion though.
It does get to a point when you have to say "no more" or that it isn't going to benifet them. I think a lot of people rush into surgery without completely considering everything, you do have to take every little detail into account and from that make the right decision for you and the rat.
They're not hard, they are soft I suppose. I'll still take him to the vets tonight, but I just don't know what they'll say. Thanks guys xxxxxx

If he has three ALREADY, I think that he's just going to keep getting more... what did the vet say though?
Rodger, Percy, Willow, Simon, Kai,Cassie, Baby, Smokey, Sam, and Winter... all goodbye and miss you, always love you and that means everywhere and anytime, even if you aren't here I still love all of you.
The vet said that basically just see how they grow and bring him back on Friday, however if that's three already an operation might be pointless because as soon as he had it, he'd get more. They are definitely tumours, not abcesses.

The lumps are growing, not big, still small, but are growing. And he has a tiny one right next to one of the tumours that was there already. I def don't think it's worth operating... but always is doubt.....
